Wow, well done. I love the style, and I think of all the illustrations I've seen, this is possibly the most successful, though I couldn't say why. Kinda forgot that I was looking at theme art while clicking through these, but when I got to this one, "contained" is the first word that popped into my head.

ReplyDeleteHere the situation is different in a way, but it has something in common with my previous impression, which is to see you there as a bird in a cage.
The thought of a nice and happy childhood is represented in the kind of drawing inside of the milk bottle. That is correct. However, when you did this picture, you were still with the same feeling of, somehow, being tied up, at the moment the painting was made, unable to get the freeedom you want to achieve; thus the use of the black, too.
Again, this is the impression I got.
